What We Do At DriveStrong
As a Georgia based non-profit we strive to provide advanced training with professional drivers in real-world conditions and situations. We teach students using a deeper, more dynamic method than typical driver’s ed classes. Our professional instructors and facility are used to give drivers the expertise and confidence needed on today’s roadways. Anyone can teach you to drive, we teach you to DriveStrong.

Just 45 minutes north of Buckhead – Atlanta Motorsports Park’s facilities provide a controlled environment unlike any other where teens can develop their driving skills.

Teen Essentials: Defensive Driving Course for Teens in North Georgia
Teen Essentials is DriveStrong's hands-on defensive driving and car control course for drivers ages 15 to 21. Classes take place on a closed course at Atlanta Motorsports Park in Dawsonville, Georgia, about 45 minutes north of Buckhead, with professional instructors and training cars provided by Beaver Toyota and Beaver Mazda of Cumming.

Advanced driver training for teens with 6 months on a permit or 25 hours of driving

Driver's ed teaches the rules of the road. Teen Essentials teaches what to do when something goes wrong. Students practice real emergency situations behind the wheel, on a closed course where mistakes are safe, with an instructor coaching every step.
