DriveStrong is a Georgia-based non-profit dedicated to equipping drivers with life-saving advanced driving skills.

Based at Atlanta Motorsports Park in Dawsonville, DriveStrong teaches advanced driving maneuvers not covered during traditional Drivers Education. Leveraging Atlanta Motorsports Park’s state-of-the-art training facilities, students of our program learn vital driving skills for life from professional instructors including wet weather, evasive and defensive handling skills as well as the dangers of distracted driving.

The school's aim is to reduce deadly car crashes by providing a controlled setting where students gain invaluable experience in car control. Our Essentials Program is our core driving course for teens, designed for students aged 15-21 who have held their permit for at least 6 months or have 25 hours of driving experience. This class is not intended for beginners.

Our class does NOT fulfill the requirements for Joshua’s Law. However, Joshua’s Law is a great program and is required for all 16 year-olds applying for a Class D license. It focuses on extensive classroom instruction and normal driving situations. Our programs put students in emergency-type exercises on a closed course so they know what to do when things go wrong.
